German helmet liner? Original?

Good call chaps, most definitely Czech. Everything about this one is typical, eyelet grommets, stitching around the inside lip, split seam at the back. From the m53 (?) helmet I think.

Right down to the black paint from what I can see. Good learning
tool I suppose - I doubt there will be a decal under the
newer coat, but you never know.........
