German Helmet Liner Original or Repo ?

What are your thoughts on this helmet liner?
I was thinking the band is good but the leather is fake?

I have not seen that maker on a 1940 band. 1938 yes. Schuberth-Werk was the main liner contractor for 1940, all I ever encountered. B&C produced later liners I have seen, but after the move to Litzmannstadt which is engraved in the band. However...these are just my observations

B&C produced liners from 37 to 42 (with name) then changed to an RB nr.
What I see when comparing to mine and others is that BERLIN is different (look at the B which is more rectangular)
Also the size stamp is different.
I would pass.

EDIT also the D ring attachements are different and rather crude. The band is a fake in my opinion.

Another telltale sign - the size stampings on the band. B&C always used a straight line, not one above the other like the other makers.
