Hey guys! I thought this helmet was a pretty interesting one with what seems to be Vet art nothing special with the helmet I just thought it was neat.

Personally I love Vet Art helmets. This one is on one hand a bit boring but on the other hand quite interesting (Hmmmm does that make sense?) Well the art work is the boring part but the Bomb with Wings (???) is interesting.

Although photos are sub optimal, I see not red flags on this at the moment.

Other than online auctions, where is a good place to find one of these? An old barn?

From a Vet or Vet's family. I see them for sale on dealer sites but not too often. I got mine from my local picker/dealer who if I remembered it correctly, sourced it from a family.

Many vet art helmets are unfortunately created post war to upgrade lesser helmets so be careful.
So do not assume every example is authentic , most are not.
It will be key just like with camo’s to carefully examine paint and wear.
