    I don't think this will effect the prices of the original German combat helmets we collectors desire.
    As the article says, most of these have been refurbed for Finnish use, and are not what we look for in a collectable lid.
    Just as John (Relicz) mentioned, they would be fine for re-enactors though.

    Still, it would be damn good fun to sort through them just in case!!!

    To me it just means more german helmets with fake decals and paint jobs will hit the market now

    If, and I say if you were lucky enough to find one or be sent one that had original paint, it would cost you three/four times the $90 to find an original liner and chin strap, only to have a non original ww2 era helmet, the only winners here are IMA who would have bought the helmets for next to nothing and sell them for large profits, the only way that any of us could expect to be proud owners is for one of us to have found and purchased the lot before they did

    Still be good to have a post war finish helmet. And a helmet from hungry would be ok too but i think the finish ones had a diferent stamp inside and paint
