Well , these pictures do not really help , what I will say is that I cannot see any sign of the National shield , all three pins on the helmet are very loose(large gaps between shell)and the liner cord is replaced. All put together I would say at best you have a messed with shell and replaced liner. M35 helmet pins are pretty good at staying close to the steel, yes they can work loose from wear but to see all three this "stretched" is very odd. I have seen a few M42 lids like this but not M35. I think you should leave this well alone , the guy obviously does not want to give you the detailed and well lit images you require!! Leon.

He needs to do close up photos of the paint and the decal as a minimum if he won't / can't do better than those you have just walk away !
I got the best pictures that I am going to get.
I am going to post all helmets one more time with close up of decal.
Can you please tell me:
1. Which ones look authentic?
2. What is the best deal (based on type and price) if any?
3. Or should I pass on all of them.
Here you go again - All German Army 550.00, Camo Luft 600.00, Single Luft EX liner Decal 750.00.
Here is Helmet A
When buying helmets you really should insist on in focus photos and more of them, before posting for opinion. Even these are not really of sufficient quality and quantity to form solid opinions. So, bearing that in mind, here goes...
Helmet A - Pass on it. While all looks good it is really a beater and many can be found like these out there.
Helmet B - Pass on it. The decal has too much flash glare to tell if real or not however one huge red flag is the decal is applied overtop the textured non factory paint.
Helmet C - Pass on it. The Luftwaffe first pattern straight leg decal appears to be a modern reproduction.
Helmet D - You might take this one if you are comfortable with the price. All looks good but remember these are very common and the condition isn't the best.
Helmet E - The Luftwaffe eagle is too blurry to tell if it is real or not. Components appear ok, however you might want to ask for a better shot of the adler and the other side. Again, M40 Luftwaffe helmets are a dime a dozen.
Also get the maker for the helmets you are interested in.
Hope this helps. Honestly, you can find the 2 helmets on reputable dealer sites with lifetime guarantees of authenticity and good photos for probably the same or better prices so you need not panic over losing this deal.
Thank you for your input.
Helmet D is only $550.
Is that a reasonable price in your opinion?
Maybe I can talk him down a little.
I dont like getting too terribly engaged in price as price is so subjective to ones situation. In the end it is surely not overpriced, if you can get it for $500 and get a 7 day no BS money back guarantee your doing ok IMO. Then you can post your own photos and inspect it in hand.
Can you point me to a few good dealer sites so I can compare?
