Congratulations on your lid. It's a very nice original. Is this a Q manufacturer? From the shape of it it almost appears to be an SE example. Anyways a nice mid war production.

Original Quist Heer helmets are easy to identify as original because the Quist Heer decal has a unique design. The Quist heer decal, known as the "bigfoot" variant, is different from the typical decal because the eagle's head is much flatter and it's right middle talon is much larger. Compare the decal on my helmet to one of ET manufacture for example. The differences are easy to notice.
