    Not good at all!...
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

The guy gave a guarantee but I still wanted to see outside pictures. I agree I don't like the camo wear or really much about it now.

A shame because without the green paint, it looks
    like a relatively decent helmet.........!

As stated modern paint someone could possibly remove carefully the green paint and it looks like a decent helmet without it I have seen worse come back to life. timothy

A definite no go cammo, I hope the sellers guarantee was a double your money back, then it would be worth it! Leon.

Part of the email response sent back response me after I was concerned about the helmet. Any thoughts? Marty

the helmet originally came from Geogio Spadero of
Italian war Front - he is a well known collector
and a dealer but primarily a collector.

It was briefly on Mike Davis's virtualgrenadier.com and vetted
by Mike who is very careful before putting it on the site.

I just brought the helmet down and looked at it with
a loop in good light. While it is in good shape here are the tell-tale
small chips, scores and scratches on top of the bowl where the
helmet skidded across the ground. The small skid marks
have the proper age and patina and do not
all all look like they've been put there atificially.

while camo helmets were used in combat
Some are in pretty nice shape and not
all dogged out. I've seen some
real clean camos over the years
    but not that often actually.
