Is this a good german helmet? Idk

Heres a link to the listing on Ebay. Original WWII German Helmet w Liner | eBay, I know ebay has alot of fakes, but this guy has sold 2 originals ones so far. Idk, seems a bit weird that the liner is really bad, and the helmet is almost perfect. What are your thoughts on it?

A post War repainted M35 shell with a correct early unreinforced aluminum banded M31 liner that may or may not be original to the piece. The liner and strap are worth the current bid amount, but as a whole not a terribly valuable piece. Jim G.
