Is this a good trade?
I have a question. I have a SE64 and a Q68 helmet that have been repainted post war and have postwar liners. Someone came to me with a No-decal M42 with original liner that is in ok shape. Does this sounds like a good trade (my two repainted original shell helmets for his original M42)? Thanks!

Would like to see pictures if possible, saying that an original over a put together helmet is a better deal.

From an economic standpoint, see what a decent ND M42 is going for these days and what you could get for yours if you sold them. Even if the refurbs could fetch you a bit more I would still make the trade.
From a collectors viewpoint....IMHO a no brainer to me. The repainted ones should go.

Always go for decent shape originals over repaints...
