Heer decal look legit

Article about: Hi, I was offered this helmet and I would like to know whether the decal looks legit.

    HI Danmark, It doesn't look like a BF to me. Also, Quist didn't start with M42's until very late in the War, well after the factory application of Heer decals was discontinued. This one looks like an ET Heer decal to me. The price seems fair. Jim G.

    Its a nice price if you like used items filled with history. I have always prefered items that has been used, and not just overwintered in a depot since 45 and never ever been used.
    Collect ROA, Cossack, Schuma and other WW2 Volunteer militaria.

    The seller also had this Luft for sale but he wanted $350.00.
    I thought that was too high based on the condition.

    Maybe overly aggressive paint cleaning? I think the Heer will display nicely, congrats. I also don't think it was a bad price... That is always subjective though!
