    Gents,

Here is my favourite helmet in my collection right now. A nice well worn M35 reissue. This helmet started its life and a DD Heer helmet and was reissued in textured field grey paint according to 1940 specifications. The liner and chin strap are dated 1937. The interior of the helmet retains the smooth pea green original paint. The liner is a massive 61cm with 9 leather tongues. The liner is also named with the owners serial number. Lots of character, which I like.

Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure.

Hi Tyler, that's a lovely "giant" Quist HEER over paint. Great to see the decals have been left alone to just "peak" through. So many of these types of helmet have been ruined by having the decals dug out, but yours is perfect! Leon.

A good looking unmeshed-with example, and nice to have one in a larger size like that.
The liner and chinstrap look like they are in great condition too.

    Brad.

Thanks Brad. Yes the liner and chinstrap are in great condition and are original to the helmet. The liner is still soft and supple. The chinstrap is dry and slightly pliable, but complete.

Nice! This is my favourite combination; apfelgrun interior and repinted/camo exterior. Great lid!
