Hello,
Please let me know if this cover is good or post-war?
Looks artificially aged to me, but please wait for other opinions.
And Welcome to the forum.
Not much experience with these, but the ones I have seen & handled, were reversible to white. Possibly this was "field made" ? Not discounting originality, just never saw this pattern
Is it possible that this could have been knocked together in the field using zeltbahn cloth? Just an idea.

Hello,
It is not a regulation helmet cover.
Another one of these satellites that never stop to pass and pass and pass and pass.....again and again....
Thanks

Without provenance, it is near impossible to validate field made items.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Thank you for your opinions
Hi, I would guess that it is post war made from original cloth simply from the wear looking un-natural. Leon.
The strange wear pattern made me think the same thing, looks like it had acid sprayed on it.
