    Found in this site (Greek) this helmet that is from crete.tell me your opinion.is it original?

    His pictures are not all that great, especially of the decals. I'm not crazy about it based on these photos alone but lets are what others say.

    Meh. I agree, also the bubbles look like they could be from heating to age the paint. Also I think the gap in " ET 71" is a give away for a bad one.

    I don't like the bubbles and the photos are horrible. I would stay away.

    There are to many things about this helmet that I do not like to take the time to list.
    I wouldn't have it if you gave it to me.

    It's so expensive for the simple reason that it looks to be a fake and the seller is hoping to make a boatload of money by selling it to a naive collector...

    I am not helmet collector but from the pics to my untrained eye it looks oven baked

    The cammo colours look off to me to start with and that national decal looks poor.As Ben has said, it looks to have either been sun bathing without factor 25(not sensible)in the glorious cretian sun or baked in an oven!I would steer clear my friend.
