Article about: This helmet was brought back by a Canadian veteran, a family member, and i've been having much difficulty trying to find a similiar style/patterned helmet. The main problem is the camo patte

    That would be great to see the closeups of the helmet, looks like it has a lot of layers of paint, is there also black paint underneath?

    I will take some more pics and include the chinstrap and liner as well

    Your right, there are a number of layers of paint but no black that I can see.

    Is there decals underneath? I think decals could be there. The dots looks not white to me, but a sand, is it?

    Can't see any decals.....And I don't think i'll scrape the paint trying to find one..lol

    As for the pattern, I thought the same thing about the white/beige color. However, I think the white may turn brownish as it aged. Again, this is just a thought.
