Hello, I have had this heer, m42 for a while. I have searched for a long time trying to decipher this abbreviation, but with no luck. Can anyone tell me what 1/T.B 17 means? I can't find T.B anywhere. Thanks.

The closest thing I can come up with is Technisches Bataillon 17 (mot).
These guys were basically the Wehrmacht's stage crew.
Transport Battalion would be my guess...
