Helmet M42 Police

Hi Forum
Some year ago I got an M42 wit the same markings inside the helmet "CPS"
I am not sure but perhaps his helmetcould also be model M 1935, M 1940 or M 1942. Inside helmet the , size 58, the letters CPS D428
There are also 2 pics off the helmet I got some years ago

Whether or not, its nice to see it in its original Czech refurbished state.

Thank you for your info, so anyhow the helmet is still original, though used by the Czech Police Special
The first helmet I got with the stamp CSP came from an air shelter in Copenhagen along with some Danish 1938 gasmasks, funny it ended up in an air shelter in Copenhagen

It is Czech john...but i was having a laugh mate. Dunno what CPS really stands for.

Now I am bewildered, I thought it was a german helmet but used/ refurbished by the Czehs, the question is it a copy or real German from WWII just used by the Czehs ?

By the way, are you going to the expocision in Rødøvre Hallen tomorrow, I will be there with a lot of money in my pockets :-) ?

Original but used by them post war.
