In my opinion, it looks bad.
Shell is a real M40, liner is real, strap is probably real, paint and decals are junk. No good for a collector, though the parts have a bit of cash value.

Besides the bad decals, the rough texture paint finish is something I would never expect to see on a legitimate double decal helmet.

Double decal helmets would have a much finer paint finish. A re-issued helmet with textured paint would have only the branch of service showing. Not sure about that liner and strap - looking post war to me. NH

The texture of this helmet is all wrong IMO. It was applied too thick, and the paint is not the right color either.
