I have these two wanting to go to my collection but first i would like to know if they are good or fake and what are.

They are what M40 or 42 ?
The seller said that the black one is not repainted

They are both M40. What does the liner of the black one look like?

These black helmets were often reissued to Czech firebrigades after the war.

The other one is nice though!

they are nice m40's

from this angle they look like quists to me. personally, i wouldn't pay more than $400 for the clean one and no more than $100 for the painted one. you can always try to remove the paint and see whats underneath.

iam paying about 400 € for both the seller said that one was from vet that was in normandy, dont know if it is a good deal but i think it is iam trying to get more photos

by the way hor can i clean the paint from the supossed repainted.

Just buy the M40 with decal the other one is not worth the money and the time.

yea i agree, dont buy the black one for that price.

black one has definitely been repainted,,,get it reasonable if it has a decent liner
