looks all post war, why not saving your money for a good one
You didn't mention the wire, and to be sure it is post war added as well. Even at $150, my take is to pass on it and put that money towards a real helmet, unless you are a reenactor and will use this one instead of an all original piece. It is refreshing to hear that the seller was up front about the repro parts, far too often that is not the case. Jim G.
This would be a great helmet if you were a reenactor and did an early heer impression. If you are just looking for good original helmets, I suggest saving your money.
I might be wrong but im leaning towards the actual leather being a period 9 fingered version, however everything else looks suspect, are there any markings on the helmet
Looks like it may have been a fairly decent shell at one time.
Good for re-enacting at that price, but I'd get rid
of all the wire.............

Q's with that lotnr didn't have Wehrmacht decals anymore , let alone two of them ;-)
It's a piece of overpriced junk.
Does it come with the skull?
