Not necessarily, most RAD's I have seen have the decal on the left. The bird on the insignia on the helmet that started the thread is not an RAD, however, the bird is looking towards the front. On an RAD decal on the left side of a helmet the bird would be looking towards the rear of the helmet. This is not an RAD decal, and definitely not a TENO decal. It looks like a hand painted insignia - of what I do not know. Jim G.
