Article about: Is that Ralph Fiennes in the picture ????

    Default Help with M1935

I came across someone in my area selling an M1935 with two complete decals. I would like some opinions whether or not the decals seem authentic. The liner is shot and the shell is missing the rivets that would hold the liner in. The chinstrap is also gone. What do you think and what would do you think is a good price? Thanks!

The decals are fake and so is the paint the liner appears to be postwar norway reissued. The helmet like this is almost worthless

I would have to agree, a Norwegian repainted helmet with fake decals

I'm more of a collector of U.S. WWII memorabilia but the seller had this along with a bunch of other stuff. I'm not an expert of detecting fakes but the decals on this were just to perfect and the paint didn't seem right either. Thanks for the help, it is much appreciated!

The shell is original, but that's it. It looks to be a size 62, maybe smaller.

10 bucks, it will make a nice flower pot or paperweight.

Shell might fetch around $100 USD.

The least they could have done was apply the decals under the vents!!As a mock up job goes it is about as duff as they come.

    Pooh, a bad one !

Ok though, if someone wanted to restore a smaller shell
    - but only if it were very cheap.........

This look EXACTLY like yours did mate. The decals are identical I'm positive. I spent a long time staring at that bird scrubbing it
