HELP with M40 Luft helmet find.

I have found this helmet for sale, which looks better than some I have seen. Asking price is $250. I know the liner is tatty, but the rest looks farly good to me. Any opiions welcome. I have asked what is stamped inside, but not heard back yet.

Without decal close-ups it's a risk paying 250$ for it.

Close-ups are really needed but from what I see it looks fine to me.

I agree Ade, this one look good to me even with the poor photos, it just isn't in very good shape, i.e. the liner is a rat. Of course, I am not spending my money on it, so I can afford to be a bit cavalier. I also agree with all of the comments that recommend that you get high quality photographs of a piece before writing the check to the seller. Jim G.
