That's what I thought, looks and smells like the real thing. Nice the the Eagle's head has survived, as well as the Swastika. I'd say if you were going to have any damage to the decal, the damage is in all the right places ;-)

Howdy, the decal is a fine one that looks to have been laquered,hence the golden tone!! + a bit of crazing! A very nice lid my friend, Leon.

No, I don't have it, and the liner is about shot. Is that a post war collector thing, the lacquering, or was it done at the time?

No it's not Krad. After application the decal was swiped over with a brush with lacquer. It helps the bonding process.by KradSpam
