    Default Identification German Helmet

    Hi friends,
I have this helmet found in a flea market, it's in good condition but no chinstrap.
I ask your help to identify it, is marked on the back flap, but not legible and there are no other marks, i saw something like it in your post on their DRK helmets, but I not sure.
It resembles a M34, but is larger and rounder.
Every your help is very welcome.

    Thanks
    Roberto

It is a nice all original example of a no decal m34 style Fire/Police helmet, of Austrian manufacture I believe. Definitely a WWII vintage helmet, usually found without decals as yours is. The tabs on the liner are for a leather neck flap, but the vast majority of these do not have one. Nice find.

    Thanks helmet2id,
I think you're right, I have found it in a place not far from the Austrian border.

    cheers

It does have a look of an Austrian shell!..
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.
