Liner drawstrings

Article about: Here is another from an M18 tranny that just arrived. The knot is almost guaranteed to be retied but is an original string. Brad.

Hi! Were there any differences between drawstrings of the M35, M40 and M42?

What is the concern about the liner string, is the one on the helmet you are trying to buy a possible reproduction? There are PLENTY of helmets on other threads that will show the liner and string. If that does not work members can and will post photos. Good luck, marty

No in not concerned about that. Im trying to learn about the helmet individual parts and physicaly about them since i dont see threads like that. Like the weight, steel thickness... i didnt find any threads about the drawstring alone.

Nor will there be IMO, as it is generally nit-picking. Lots of helmets
have lost their string over time.........
