Lot of 8 German Helmets

Put it this way-3 of them have no liners, so, for me, that drops them down almost into the relic class. 3 more are Police helmets-which arent all that high on the value scale either. So you're basically looking at 2 semi-decent lids of the lot-neither of which have decals. I won't venture to name a price, but it sure wouldn't be even remotely close to $1800 bucks.

Yup! No liners, however... 2 still have the liner bands, at least.

I love the WWI shells, even minus the liners. Let me know if you grab them and want to part. I'm fond of the Austrian models.

Yep, that is what we agreed on. I'll be snapping better photos at like 5:30pm EST tomorrow. I just wanted to post the photos he provided to generate discussion and perhaps give me some "ammunition" for negotiations.

I like the beaded dbl decal police ....if it is legit...... my birthday is coming up in April, hint hint....lol !!!

Mine is in April too... I like the looks of the Austrian shell, but 1800 seems a bit steep

Just from the pictures provided they are all look original, except the decals need a close up and the strap on the beaded helmet (middle left) needs a closer look. The Luftwaffe L.S. stamp on the civil liner is pretty common on DD beaded police helmets, and the chinstrap on the fire/police is fine too.

Here are the retail prices in my opinion assuming all the helmets are original:

top row: (left to right)
1) M18 Shell - $200
2) Austrian Shell - $200
3) M16/17 Shell - $180

Mid Row:
1) ND beaded - $200
2) Fire/Police M34 - $300
3) M40 double decal beaded Police - $400

Bottom Row:
1) SD M42 - $400
2) ND M40 - $350

My favorite out of all of these is the Austrian helmet shell. I'd take it over any of the others.

That would be correct for retail price(dealer price).
Collector price would be much lower (condition ,original decal,liner )
