To think I started out looking for an M43 field hat. I love how collections build themselves. I am delighted you all like the piece, I think that is what made the final decision. Thanks everyone.

1150 is a steep price for a common lid.

A nice decal and good paint on this luft M35 Quist lid. Seems $200/$300 over priced to me for a single decal,but that's no problem if you are happy with the price! As schwerpunkt mentioned it looks as though the liner has had some treatment,but it is still a good original one. Well done and enjoy your new helmet!! Leon.

Item was shipped today. I figure the extra cash I spent is worth the look I wanted in a helmet. Even with the liner treated, this one just wanted to join the collection. I just received my entrenching tool in the post, so I am off to put it on the mannequin.
