Luftschutz decal....oK?

This looks like a sticker to me, note the thick edge at the top

I'm not convinced that it is an original decal either. As Dave says, when you look closely at the decal edge it does look quite thick. Plus, whilst we can't see much of the helmet, we can see quite a few surface scratches...yet the decal is perfect.
