Luftschutz Helmet Question

I found a luftschultz helmet from a dealer, it has a green sort of decal on the left side and he says it is a factory decal? Is this true? ... sorry I can not get any pictures, for it is at a local antiques shop.

Factory decals or painted insignia are not unknown. But I would exercise real caution. A great many helmets are now turning up like this due to fakers added them to try and up the price on what are fairly low value helmets.

I too would suggest caution......I would say there's a better chance it being a reproduction rather than a real piece.
Shell could be legit - but the fake decals really hurt collector value.
