    Hi kameradeN

    Got this Luftschutz with Serial number RL2-38/28

    Its a shame the cross is gone ...

    But still a great good looking Luftschutz helmet in GREAT condition.

    Maybe someone can tell me more about this fabricant ?

    Looks to be a decent two piece luftschutz with a nice three pad liner and good chin strap

    thats a perfect summary. thx kameraad . What year would this one be created , or is it impossible to find out? I guess before 42/43 ? after they stopped making those decals on those helmets. Am i correct?

    I might be wrong about this as combat helmets are my main field, but I am sure I've seen the 1 piece M44 gladiator with a LS decal on it.

    They do indeed exist, they are just rare.

    So kameraden, is this a 1 piece or a 2 piece helmet ?

    AND and m40 or m44 ?
