    Not sure what a luff helmit is mate but this looks like an original Luftschutz helmet. The German equivalent of the ARP more or less.

    It's the size James size 57, they don't seem to be as common is bigger sizes a lot seem to be 54-55!..
    It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

    thanks paul ,ive just dug mine out and it appears to have a different liner system to brocky's more like an m16 also it has just a 23 ink stampClick image for larger version.

    Mine is a size 54 and has the cork spacers like yours but the liner like the OP!...
