If those are from a dealer name and shame him , those are 15$ repro stickers.

Yes they're from a dealer, but not a certified one. It's a private person trying to sell his collection. Well, he has enough to call him a dealer. Asks 700$ for his cheapest lids..! He told me he thought the decals were original because the paint was old and the decal didn't come off when scratching it :s.
His website, militariabattleshop.be.

What is it that makes the decals obviously fake?
For me Glenn its the lines inside the feathers. Comparing them to known originals will make the decal stand out as a fake. There are also other points but the lines are my first point of call

The graphics. Several critical features - feather lines, wing features, leg lines, etc. are wrong or missing altogether. Plus the composition of the "sticker" looks too plastic. The repros are getting better, but still fail under close scrutiny. Jim G.
Lots of Bengal lancers around.....*sigh*
Just perused his site.
Never seen this one before:

Thanks guys, after 10 minutes of staring at Ken's book compared to the posted examples above I believe I can see some missing or misplaced features now. No wonder the seller didn't supply quality photos...he was hiding the fake nature of his wares.
