luftwaffe helmet is it a fake or what?

I'm no expert, but it is a good looking helmet. sorry I can't help, still learning my self, any stamp marks on the rim inside?

Im still learning to, but i think an m35, it looks pretty good to me. then again German helmets are one of the most re pros out there.

I'm "iffy' about this. The thing looks fine, but the swatstika decal looks like the fake ones I have come across.

All looks fine to me.

The stamps MIGHT refer to the Luftwaffe (signals school) Luftnachrichtenschule located at Halle/Saale.

Not being an expert on decals, but it looks like a standard luft decal to me, just toned or dirty maybe and the rest looks good, IMO.

Dont know about the stamp, but Ade's suggestion seems likely.

I too see no problems with this DD M35 luftwaffe helmet. Decals are beat up - but the whole rig looks legit.

Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but I think this was factory refurbished, repainted and redecaled. The paint exposed by the missing parts of the decals looks lighter than the rest of the shell, and there certainly appear to be 2 luft adlers. It is 100% correct in my opinion. It looks like a big shell, a Q68 maybe? Anyway, the next time your friend wants to give a helmet away, keep me in mind! Cheers, Jim G.
