Luftwaffe M40 Cammo Helmet

This helmet l dug out of my uncles shed, along with a DD ss helmet which l just posted for help, cause he said he did not know anything about it, but the Cammo helmet was my Dad,s he took home in 1945, l beleive it came from a battle in ede holland may 2/45, vent holes are punched in, chin strap n liner are very nice and marked 56.
dark brown strap, and tan liner, very tight..a little wear on the rim and some light scratches over the whole helmet, looks like it was painted with a brush, redish brown and green, inside helmet looks black or very dark grey, is it worth anything, what kind of helmet? marked on the rim with et64 and 834..any help appreciated very much..

Sorry, it's a fake . Eagle is a known bad one and then the paint can't be original too ..

Be careful making such comments if you don't actually can tell yourself if it's real.

Iv'e never seen one like it either, but hey, that is the joy and beauty of collecting FAKES. You never see the same one twice. Come on, that camo is a total joke. And is that black paint on the inside of this Luftwaffe lid....?

I am definitely no expert, it just doesn't look good. If you study camo's even a little bit, you start to get an idea.

Something a dealer or shop would place on their items..........!
