I had a discussion with a so called 'expert' about this being an original or not, the helmet comes out a dump with more then 300 helmets and this one should be fake.... Please help!

I had a discussion with a so called 'expert' about this being an original or not, the helmet comes out a dump with more then 300 helmets and this one should be fake.... Please help!
From the condition of the surviving paint, I would guess that this was unused and then dumped ( little observed damage to the overall finish ) and therefore not surprising to see a very crisp decal ..... then again, the lengths some people go to to pull off a deception never ceases to astound me!!
So I would value more opinions ( and better photos will only help your cause )

Hey, the helmets where stuck on each other in piles so thats probly the reason why the decal is still quiet visable.
A friend of mine said it is a genuine M40 and probaly a Quist decal!
So lets see what people say here
Absoutley genuine in my opinion.
I see no problems with it.
