It looks like an FIREDEPT. helmet.

Inside covering is Russian SSH 39.

Interesting fire service reissue. The lugs have had the longer piece knocked off prior to the black repaint also. Unusual is the Soviet liner system, but why not I suppose.... it certainly looks to have been in there a long long time. The outside has been cleaned?

Post war use possibly, might be the explanation for the liner system. Or maybe they found the liner system drug the war. An interesting combo nonetheless.

soviet liner and chinstrap , i first wondered if this was a variant of the czech vz 19 a close copy of the m16 but i dismissed that theory

This helmet looks to be a captured helmet and reussed by the Russian.
