    If you don't like the position of the decals than don't buy it , life can be simple ;-)

    Vet or post war applied insignia if original , can you post a close-up.

    It's a plain M42 that a vet or early postwar dealer put decals on. If the decals are original, then it might be worth picking up cheap just as an oddity.

    I once saw a helmet like this that had about 12 Heer decals on it

    The price is 550 €. Found last year, so bad condition inside.

    The decals look original and period applied, probably by the veteran who captured it. I can't make out the markings on the rear skirt, I would guess ET? No blood on the liner, just rotting from poor storage. I personally wouldn't buy this one, not very desirable or collectible in my opinion. You can buy an original M42 SD for that price

    No it is one CKL, size 64 lot 4154. It's not coming from a vet.

    CKL and ET are the same manufacturer, these look like ET style decals which is why I asked. If not a vet piece, where is it from?

    We don't know, buyed on a French site some years ago.
