M1942 CKL68 with dome stamp 100% Original?

Alright Gents,

This will be my last helmet post seeking authenticity opinions. I was told this is 100% original. I've had a good look over it and this being my first german helmet feels original, but I have nothing to go by. It has that good old WW2 smell, no leather smell on the liner or strap. I can make out Wehrmacht on the dome stamp and what looks to be -43- on the bottom.

The initials on the liner are actually the same as mine, which I thought was pretty neat.

It is 100% Original but in this lotnr range helmets had a decal and this one had it removed.

Hi, nothing wrong with this M42, as mentioned it would have had a HEER decal, but I am sure you know that as you can see the "shadow" of where it was. A decent honest and helmet, well done. Leon.

I saw on A collector's guild website that they have a few original Heer eagle decals for sale. I thought it might be neat to re-apply one of these to the helmet and get it back to its original configuration. But then I thought, no, leave it the way it is.
