M34 question
Hello everyone, new [about a year]collector here, I have an M34 dual decal[police decal 99%,party decal about 80-85%] helmet, original liner, correct stamping, original paint[no repaint]etc., I'd give it an 8 out of 10,except is has some schrapnel damage. 4 SMALL HOLES,FROM 1/4 INCH TO 1 inch, the one inch hole is more of a slit, not a large hole. Does this damage add to or take away from value, and if so how much?? Thanks,Lenny[I do not have a way to post any pics right now]

Re: M34 question
Takes away typically. Without photos impossible to say sorry.

Re: M34 question
I agree with Doug. Holes generally decrease the value although every collector has his tastes and some will pay more or less for certain things. It may not be shrapnel damage though. There are a variety of things that could make holes in a helmet, especially considering how old it is.
