    yup definitely reproduction i don't think they ever used metal cross sections for the MkII liners they used some sort of fiber and stamped the size and maker into that.

    ok after removing the extra paint it is an SE62 ex DD helmet only the shades are present now......

    Because the chinstrap bales are incorrect for a correct German helmet. German helmets have the chinstrap bales on the liner.

    i know i removed all these i will post pictures in a couple or hours or less of the finished helmet i will notify you to check it if you like i used acetone

    The liner and strap are from the Greek MkIIs, .: World War Helmets - Casque Mark II :.
    I think I would have left it as it was as novelty.

    ok so after seeing the helmet again it has a grey paint and on top of it there are some spots with green reissue paint
