Picked this one up in a junk shop in northern Connecticut about 25 years ago, an SE68 shell, lot number 3495, with a size 60 single banded aluminum liner . This one left the factory as a double decal Heer, but has been repainted and redecaled at least once. I will leave the rest of the description to the pictures, if only this one could talk! Hope you like it. Jim G.

I really love this one especially the underlying green bleeding through the later paint application.

A seasoned battle veteran with the wear and patina to show it.

    Thanks for showing.

That's a great helmet Jim, has my favourite attribute, decals showing through a cracked period over paint! Superb. Leon.

Awesome lid. I dream of such a find every time I enter an antique or junk shop.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Frank, I think this is most definitely a "no doubt" War time applied ES decal. Glad you guys like this one. Jim G.
