    Picked up this M35
has a liner, what I think is supposed to be a ww1 variant,
was put into place by adding a few extra holes. possible ex motor cycle helmet
    decals are of course fake.
    Its black paint over green
I am looking for general ideas on possibilities for this.
Due to the extra liner holes, I am maybe turning it into a lamp or something of that nature.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance guys

A good M35 shell postwar reused IMO. The decals are fake. The liner could be M16 liner with M31 leather cut to fit?

I will take some better pics of the liner. It may be that combination . the liner band is leather and its riveted flush and tight to the shell

the white spot on the inner part of the helmet is the remnants of a wasp nest that was rendered inert

As I have said, I would like to make this some sort of project helmet, if anyone has ideas let me know.
