    This is the first time ( for me ) I have seen one of these green birds in situ - although it looks to me to be more like the HJ "blue" one in Kens book than the "green" version ?

    ( maybe there was only one type that colour shifted from green to blue after UV exposure???? ( or was the ozone layer still intact during WW2 )

    These is in my opinion no need for a discussion on these adlers , they are real.

    I have a friend that has the subdued blue version on an M38 FJ. It was Microscoped at an intense level & the what appeared to be original lacquer coat was deemed original period applied by many advanced "helmet heads"
