    The tan paint looks original but the green brush strokes are a later add on, you can see where the green has been painted over old rust on parts of the rim!...

    Not sure about the green paint, but the rest looks ok to me.

    Hi, well for me, it looks like a tan cammo that has had a period green "rag" applied addition later in the war. I personally like it as being correct, but as with all cammo's that is just my opinion and not a fact. Leon.

    Ive given up on commenting on cammos - these old eyes can't tell good from bad with some of the 'Rembrandts' floating about on the market these days. .........
    Hope your example is a good one William but i cannot say yay or nay.

    It looks good- but i agree with Danmarks comment "to many rembrandts out there today"

    Imo has a good chance but well cleaned.

    IMO- A nice helmet that I would gladly have in my collection.
