I would LOVE to have it, even if it "sat out" the front lines, but, it aint gonna happen so that's that. I'll just print a pic and place it in the cabinet

I partly agree. This is in general my own opinion. HOWEVER..... In this case i would make an exception. I don't think it will be possible to find another M35 in better condition than this one. Ever. It's not just another "good/perfect" condition helmet. For this reason alone i think it would worth having. To be cynical also a great investment. Would be hard to sell it though
I hope Doug get's the helmet.
Regards, Lars
Just had a thought actually, if someone was going to give me a mint Zundapp or BMW that saw no action, i dont think i would argue with them !! haha
Just contradicted myself there, cracking helm although not my cup of tea, good luck who ever finds it in their Christmas stocking !! haha
Well it's over 4000 euro now with 4 days still to run on the auction!
I like helmets that tell a story as well but for my taste an apple green M35 double decal Heer I do like crisp and clean and no caffeine. And this has a bit of a story, it has been personalized to a doctor. I have a mint Q that is also named. Nice and mint, and the owner was a Knights Cross winner. ;-)
Why do I have a funny feeling this one is going to end up on Doug's shelf.
I hope one of us wins it. At least if one of us wins it, then it is safe and isn't going to get destryoed or put on ebay as a fake....
An absolute pleasure to see such a well preserved piece of history.
Josh
Doug, do you have any pictures of your mint M35 you have now?
