    Folks,

This is my latest pickup - an M35 NS64 Heer with overpaint. The helmet was actually delivered to my sister about a month ago but i was unable to pick it up until yesterday, but... it was worth the wait.
The helmet has been been repainted at some point, probably in the field, with a fairly thick field grey / green colour. The Pocher decal has been carefully painted around and is in really good condition.

Thanks to John Brandon at Eagle Relics for supplying the helmet - you were right, it is better in the hand than the photos, i'm super pleased with it.
And thanks to David (real steel) for his advice and opinions on the helmet also - always willing to help.

    I hope you like,
    Nick

    Thank you gents.

The USB scope is the same one i reviewed in this thread:

I didn't spend too longer today on the heer decal, but wanted to include some closeup photos.

The camera is Canon EOS 400D - my father's old camera. I spent some time trying to get decent photos, but i haven't really explored what the camera can do - this would be a whole project in itself and lately i haven't had the time.

Very nice example, I always appreciate seeing a brush applied over paint with a paint around decal.

A cracker Nick, I love the field over paints, especially when they are as neat as this one! Leon.
