I have had this forever - a well worn M35 SD Heer with original well patinated (translation rusty) smooth green factory applied paint. There are only traces of the tri color which was scraped off as per regulation visible on the right but the bird is in pretty good shape. It is complete with a reinforced aluminum banded liner with sweat stained but reasonably supple and complete leather and the full length strap. It is an SE64 shell, with lot number 3(8?)50. Nothing great but representative. Hope you like it. Jim G.

Indeed and rather uncommon that they scratched away the tricolor , often seen only on Kriegsmarine worn helmets.

Nice honest front line example Jim. That Soldat wasn't fooling around when he scraped off that NC decal......all the way down to bare metal. Pretty amazing that the Heer eagle survived so well!

    Cheers,
