M35 KM helmet

Hello, I am posting these for a friend who purchased this helmet yesterday at a local swap meet. Is the decal genuine? I've looked over the forum for pictures to compare it to and it seems legit. The helmet itself looks honest as far as age, although I am by no means knowledgeable with these and am always wary with the decals as they are so widely faked. Also, can the date of manufacture be determined from the maker marks?

Hi Tony. The pics show up fine. I think its a KM decal. I like the solid gold in the decal and it even throughout. I think he did well to pick this up.

Looks like a legitimate ET M40 KM, not sure what the paint spatter is all about.

I think it looks good! Looks KM to me as well. Bright even gold shimmer. Good pics!

(Edit: I can see the two piece construction as well.)

Sorry for not being more clear. I meant the two layered construction of the decal. If you look at the swastika you can see (IMO) the outline of the underlying gold part of the decal.
