    Default M40 Double Decal Combat Police Helmet - ET62 - Lot # 1051 - Unbordered Police Adler

Here is a gun show buy from about 20 years ago, a well used ET62 Combat Police helmet, lot number 1051. The exterior is in fairly good shape with the paint having a nice patina and the decals age toned. The rough textured combat paint rates about 85%, and the Party Shield is a solid 90%, but the unbordered Police Adler, typical of ET M40 Police examples, took an unfortunate hit. The liner is a rat, but is original to the piece, and the chinstrap was long gone when I bought it. Not mint, but representative. Hope you like it, Jim G.

Or I'll trade mine with yours...LoL.

    Both very nice helmets Jim/Frank.

Jim: The liner isn't too roached. All the tabs and doesn't look to dried out.

Here is mine. A tried and true combat vet. Would love one with a better Police decal eventually but this one hits all the right buttons for me.

    M40 Q62, Lot# 1(?)770 with chinstrap. Liner: Schubert-Werk dated 1940 Zinc-steel marked 62 n.A 55.

Underside of leather marked "B 57".

Initials A.F. under liner in pencil.
