    Question M35 helmet

As part of a trade i might get this helmet and a GJ tunic, reviewed in https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/heer-...06/#post898365
I collect only Dutch stuff for the last 3 years, so German ww2 is not on my plate.

It is period repainted (got signs of sandy and red color paint underneath the cover), at least says the trader.
But wat i really want to know is if the chinstrap and the liner are good.
Photos are not great but would do it.

    Thanks for your comments!

Looks like a good reissue to me, but M35 rather than M40 IMO. The liner looks ok, the pics are not good enough to properly judge the strap though.

    Is it an SE shell?

Thanks for your opinions, i changed the title to M35.

I think i would go for it after i have seen it in real life.

What are these worth these days? €400-450?

Hi there, I would not like to comment on the "cammo" from these pictures as it is to hard to call!!That said, the question you asked about the liner /chinstrap? I think the liner is a good original and the chinstrap stands a chance. Leon.

Pics leave something to be desired but I like it so far. Need more pics of the strap to be certain.

    Some more photos
Maybe a bit too light, but who care, it is (finally) nice weather here.

It is very hard to read the maker but i think it says ET68, and the numer of the shell is 32?(?)
    And the strap`s number is 9 119 45 0388.
